Pros:
Gps, phone, and pda in. Bright screen. SD and MiniSD slots.
Cons:
Keyboard buttons too small. Slow processor. Small memory. Lack of compatible software. No wi-fi.
The Bottom Line:
Useful for the gadget guy who wants 1 device to cover a wide range. Don't expect a powerful device just a basic one.

Bought this to cut down on my devices to carry. Unit runs windows 2003se. Not windows smart phone. This unit is a PDA first then a phone. I like to play mp3's while working with excel, or word docs. But this causes a heavy load on the processor so I have to wait for the documents to load. Even when no background software is running, you have to wait for software to start running after opening it. Internal memory is small so most programs should be loaded on a memory card. Size is not much bigger that my previous pda, thickness is bigger but not bigger than other smart phones. Square screen is bright enough. Not all software is compatible with the screen size. Keyboard keys are not easily usable. Internal memory is not enough. Windows media volume control is not consistent. When lowering the volume in windows media, the 20% level is actually louder than the 25% level. The 3/32 size headphone jack is inconvenient. I had to buy an adaptor for my preferred 1/8 size headphones. The ear buds that come with the unit are not hi quality but do the job. Internal speaker is low quality for music, but is ok for alarm sounds. If you put volume to max my speaker vibrates a little. Battery life as been very good for me. Last 1 full day with phone on, reminders alarms, and all day of working with documents and listening to music. Bluetooth compatibility has been good and easy to use software. Phone functions are basic. No advanced features such as assigning different ring tones to callers or groups. Cannot create groups in phone. Shows missed calls, last call. When in phone mode you can tap a notes icon and a template to write down your message comes up. I like this feature. You can dial a phone number from your contacts. Unit is easy to use with one hand. Easy to create text messages. Don't like the blue "shift" button location on the lower left side of the keyboard. Makes it difficult to access the buttons immediately next to it for special characters. Unit feels like it is built well. Overall the unit is slightly below average compared to others on the market. The 1.3 meg pixel camera is ok. It comes with built in flash which is only useful within 2-3 foot range. Resolution is ok for web but don't expect normal digital camera quality. When taking a picture there is a delay from the time you push the button to the time it actually takes the picture. Don't move during that time or the photo will be really bad. It is helpful for spur of the moment photos and quick shots of something you want to remember. When I'm shopping I use the camera to take photos of items then send them to my wife's cell phone to check if the items are correct. The camera is handy for stuff like that. GPS receiver is quick to lock for first fix. You need to buy your own good software. My unit didn't come with any GPS software. GPS has been accurate within a couple of feet, seems to refresh quickly. Unit gets warm when gps has been on for a long time. I think if you need a PDA 1st, then basic phone function and don't mind a slow processor, this is good for basic users who want 1 device. Users who have multiple applications running or who use media like images or music or movies may want a device with more internal memory and faster processor.
