Great home color laser printer

I've been wanting a color laser printer for years. When the prices dropped below $400, I knew it was time to buy one. I looked at a few others, but what finally swayed me to the 2600N was it's solidity -- some of the other printers I looked at seemed pretty flimsy, but this thing is built like a tank. Plus, I was able to get it for $299 from Amazon, with no sales tax and free delivery!

I've been very happy with it, which could be because I knew what to expect. I had no illusions that it was a photo printer, which is a good thing, because photos look terrible! I also wouldn't expect it to work well as a workgroup printer in a business situation -- it's meant for home use, as the small paper tray will tell you. For what I do -- mostly printing web pages -- it's terrific. Google Maps look AWESOME! (For photos, I prefer online photo finishers anyway.)
