Epinions An Outstanding Product

by  kowrip,  Mar 21, 2007
Pros: inexpensive, potential to save lots of $$$$ on other solutions, 4 wired ports
Cons: setup can sometimes be tricky for non-technical people
The Bottom Line: I'd recommend this over ANY other device for establishing wireless connectivity in an area far away from a wireless router
Review: This is an excellent little device to solve a somewhat complicated wireless networking issue. Typically, each device (computer, video game console, printer, etc.) needs its own wireless card/adapter to access a wireless router. Very often, a room with ...

Epinions Fabulous

by  dave172,  Jul 4, 2008
Pros: Absolutely the BEST way to get wired ethernet at other end of a wireless connection.
Cons: No longer available in the U.S.A., due to a patent dispute.
The Bottom Line: Get one if you can find it!

Epinions Works great when you get it working!

by  alanp,  Dec 9, 2005
Pros: Fairly easy to setup, good performance, and slick looking and tidy package.
Cons: Poor compatibility with Netgear WGR614v5 router. Might work better with other brands.
The Bottom Line: Some incompatibility issues, but when you get it working, it works GREAT!
Review: I wanted something to connect my playstation and home theater PC to my wireless network router upstairs. I thought about getting 2 individual wireless adapters, one for each, but then I found this. It can connect up to 4 ethernet devices wirelessly to ...

Epinions Works Well - But hangs after sometime....

by  gnk979,  Jan 12, 2006
Pros: Works well when the network is being used
Cons: Hangs on infrequent use. Awful Tech Support.
Review: WLI-TX4-G54HP works well and I have it connected to my Internet Stereo System MC-I200. However if I turn off my Stereo and the next day I turn it on the WLI-TX4-G54HP goes to sleep and appears to have hung. I have to manually turn off the power and then ...
