Pros: Continuous connectivity, easy setup
Cons: None so far.
The Bottom Line: Effective, great connectivity & range
Review: I was in the market for a new wireless router when my Netgear router had died (likely from overheating). I wanted something that would be more durable and easy to use. I had set up wireless networks previously and found the instructions very ...

Pros: Performance, Price, Aesthetics, Standard Features, DD-WRT compatibility, Two Year Warranty
Cons: Reboot time with Buffalo firmware seems longer than most.
The Bottom Line: Excellent price, excellent features, amazing range, DD-WRT compatibility. Looks like Linksys has some serious competition in the standard router market - they've definitely lost my business....for now.
Review: After running a FR1104-G router 24x7 for three and a half years, I had to begin the search for a new router when the former decided to brick itself. Knowing the retail standard these days is the Linksys WRT54G, I immediately began to search out why and ...

Pros: Good range, stable, pleasing design, DD-WRT compatibility, low cost.
Cons: none
The Bottom Line: This is the new standard to beat in consumer grade routers!
Review: The Linksys WRT54G might be the popular standard in home routers, but the Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 turns out to be a better alternative. I've been a longtime fan of the Linksys WRT54G--not because it was great out of the box, but because it could be ...

Pros: To many to list.
Cons: Having to wait for the router to reboot after changing a setting.
The Bottom Line: This beats Netgear, Linksys, and D-Link by far as I have tried them all.
Review: I have used Netgear, Linksys, and D-Link in the past few years. I read a few reviews about Buffalo that were great so I had to try it. I have about 3 1/2 acres over which I use both a laptop and UTStarcom WI-FI Voip phone. None of the routers came ...

Pros: Speed and signal strength.
Cons: Set up took a while.
Review: I had a Netgear WGR614. It died while upgrading the firmware. Netgear replaced it under warranty, but I was always having to reset it to repair my connection. I read up on routers and came across two Buffalo Technology routers in my price range. ...

Pros: OUTSTANDING UNIT!!!
Cons: No negatives.
Review: We are now covering our 240 acres with this single unit!!! It did have to be flashed with the DD-WRT software to accomplish this, but it is now a solid 5-green 'bars' around the property. Indeed, in one area to the West, we have WAY too much signal - ...
