Excellent Printer! Save Money By Using These Labels.

I've been using this printer for about a month and have been left with nothing less than a warm a fuzzy feeling. It performs admirably with every type of label I've thrown at it so far with not so much as a single problem.

If you sell on eBay and create shipping labels through Paypal's shipping function, this printer is a must. It's fast, quiet and most importantly, reliable.

There are many people out there that claim the Dymo brand label printers to be superior to the QL-500. I've seen the Dymo label printer in action but I just couldn't justify the much higher price when compared to what you get with the Brother. For most folks the Brother QL-500 is more than enough. That's all I have to say about that.

One thing you may notice is the high cost of replacement labels for this printer. If you insist on purchasing and using the Brother PTouch brand labels get ready for a rude awakening.

The OEM labels from Brother are much too expensive for my blood so I decided to find a good generic brand that could work as well or better than the originals. I get all my labels for the QL-500 from:

Do yourself a favor and check them out. I picked up a 4 pack of the DK-2205 continuous roll thermal labels for only $47.10 total with shipping! They also have a 6 pack that allows you to save even more than that per roll. Compared to the ~$15 per roll Brother is charging this is a no brainer.

I hope I've help some of you save some money and increase your enjoyment of this amazing little printer. This may be the best little printer I've purchased in several years.
