I am SO on a roll with TIGI Bed Head products! I recently found a great deal where you get a free bottle of TIGI Bed Head Self Absorbed Shampoo when you purchase the conditioner. And fortunately, it turns out I absolutely love both.
~ Product Description and Packaging
TIGI Bed Head Self Absorbed Mega Vitamin Conditioner comes in an 8.5 fl. oz. see-through plastic bottle with a pull up top. Not the kind you press on one side and the other pops up, but the kind you pull straight up, and then push down to close. You can see the lovely pale orange conditioner inside the bottle.
TIGI tells us on the bottle, "Take two minutes to get a little Self Absorbed! Mega vitamins A, B, C, D and E energize lazy, ho-hum hair. Pump up the body and shine. Work out the tangles and dry ends. Feed out-of-shape or chemically treated hair what it needs."
The directions for use suggest working the conditioner thoroughly through damp hair. Leave on for 3-5 minutes for maximum benefits, and then rinse.
TIGI products are sold only in salons, however you can also find them at www.drugstore.com, or I'm sure other online stores, but without the TIGI guarantee. Self Absorbed Conditioner sells for about $12.99 for 8.5 oz. Yes, it IS expensive!
Note that TIGI does NOT test on animals.

~ My Experience
After shampooing with
TIGI Bed Head Self Absorbed Shampoo, which is absolutely divine, I couldn't wait to try
TIGI Bed Head Self Absorbed Mega Vitamin Conditioner. The first thing I noticed was the wonderful orangey scent, which reminds me of orange sherbet. Actually the conditioner even looks like orange sherbet! The scent is slightly different, yet complements very nicely, the orange fragrance of Self Absorbed Shampoo.
Bed Head Self Absorbed Conditioner has a very rich, rather thick, creamy consistency. This will definitely not run out of your palm. I found it easy to disperse throughout my shoulder length hair. I've been leaving this in for about 2-3 minutes before rinsing. It rinses clean, and leaves my wet hair soft, but not slick, yet easy to comb out. This does a good job of detangling.
You should know that my hair is color treated, fine yet thick, straight, with a tendency to be limp. After blow drying and styling my hair as usual, I was quite pleased with how my hair looked and felt. It was moisturized, yet not limp or weighed down. It felt soft and looked shiny, and was easy to manage.
I've used this conditioner with other shampoos besides the companion Self Absorbed Shampoo, and it works fine. The orange scent from the conditioner doesn't last much after my hair is dry. When I use the Self Absorbed shampoo I can smell the orange fragrance for several hours, but apparently that's from the shampoo.
~ Final Thoughts
TIGI Bed Head Self Absorbed Mega Vitamin Conditioner is an excellent conditioner, and especially complements Self Absorbed Shampoo. This is not a super deep conditioner though, so I still use an intensive hair treatment about once a week. But for everyday use, I'm totally happy with Bed Head Self Absorbed Conditioner, and it does seem to add some body to my limp hair. A big thumbs up from me!
