Pros: super tack sharp images

Cons: aperture range is a bit on the high side

Excellent companion piece to 18-55mm kit lens

Pros: Light weight, VR works well, sharp images, fast focus. Exceptional value.

Cons: Only kit lens quality(plastic barrel). I don't recommend for Macro(micro) shots.

The Bottom Line: When paired with the 18-55mm kit, you have a set that covers just about any range a photographer will require. All this at a great value.
