Gold and Glory: The Road to El Dorado is a platform action game based on the misadventures of Tulio and Miguel -- two financially strapped duelists looking for easy cash in the New World. You won't find any major innovations in this portable Pak, but the play control is solid and the presentation is polished. Controlling either Tulio or Miguel, players jump and shoot through 20 colorful levels which closely follow Dreamworks' animated feature film. The bulk of the gameplay involves negotiating platform puzzles while collecting Treasure Coins and avoiding various enemies. Ubi Soft keeps the action fresh with the addition of automatically-scrolling levels and creative bosses, which can challenge even the most experienced treasure hunters.
