Cuisinart Griddler GR-4: OK, but some complaints

Pros: Compact, portable, removable plates for easier clean up. Makes great paninis.

Cons: Not durable, not great for cooking eggs (it runs down to the grease opening).

The Bottom Line: It's OK. Good for singles or a small family. Don't expect it to last though. I recommend it with a caution.

Review: I had another indoor griller (the one that's tilted and branded by a once famous boxer). It was first generation model so the plates didn't come off and cleaning was such a chore. I paid over $100 for it and it ended up in the trash. I wanted another one ...

Cons: terrible customer service

Review: My griddler did not work from day one. 6 calls to customer service with lots of run arounds has gotten me no where. Asked to fax in proof of purchase before they will speak to me, but no one can ever "find the fax" so I guess I am out of luck. Don't ...
