can't make rice AND veggies

Pros: large capacity, works great on vegies.

Cons: doesn't cook rice and vegies simultaneously, bulky with lots of parts and pieces.

Review: This steamer works great for steaming vegies. There is room to steam a ton. Unfortunately, you either need to eat rice OR steamed vegies for dinner- not both at the same time, because this product can't do both simultaneously. If you have to choose, ...

Pros: Compact, easy to clean, fluffy rice which wasn't starchy or sticky.

Cons: All similarly-designed products will undergo the same disintegration process. No satisfaction with B&D Customer Service.

The Bottom Line: I believe a recall is in order. Unsafe chemicals could be leaching into the food.
