The DHCP server automatically assigns an IP address or it disables itself if a DHCP server already exists on the network. The synchronous port can be configured for either leased-line PPP, X.25 or Frame Relay connectivity. The WAN port automatically detects the cable type. The Eicon 1550 WAN Router is easily managed and configured through a web browser. A simple point and click assigns different WAN protocols or upgrades the Eicon 1550 WAN Router software.
