The 3Com Router 3034 provides all of the components needed to give remote office and tele-workers secure, high-speed symmetric access to the Internet or corporate networks over a broadband DSL connection with ISDN backup capabilities. The router includes an integrated ISDN BRI S/T backup port, and a four-port switch for local LAN connections. The 64MB DRAM, 8MB flash memory, and operating software support a full complement of routing, integrated security, and quality of service features required by today's remote office. The Router 3034 operates using the latest business-class standard of DSL known as G.SHDSL (Symmetric High-speed Digital Subscriber Line). This standard of DSL provides symmetric broadband service for mission-critical and time-sensitive applications such as IP telephony and content delivery.
